Collective agreement signed with New Brunswick Union25 February 2016
FREDERICTON (GNB) – The provincial government and the New Brunswick Union have signed a new collective agreement for industrial training and certification officers.
Human Resources Minister Denis Landry and union officials participated in the signing ceremony today.
“I thank the two negotiating teams for reaching this agreement,” said Landry. “This illustrates our commitment to ensuring that the government treats its employees with fairness by respecting the collective bargaining process.”
The contract runs for five years and three months. It includes annual wage increases of one per cent and an adjustment tied to the discontinuance of the retirement allowance benefit.
