FREDERICTON (GNB) – Residents of local service districts in the Fredericton area and the rural community of Hanwell are advised that tree and debris cleanup from Post Tropical Storm Arthur will begin Tuesday, July 29.

The cleanup will be done by appointment. Residential property owners wishing to have tree debris picked up must call 453-2838 prior to noon on Monday, July 28, to make arrangements.

The tree debris will need to be piled near main roads, but not on the right of way, prior to 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29.

The local service districts affected are:

  • Cambridge,
  • Canning,
  • Chipman,
  • Clarendon,
  • Douglas,
  • Dumfries,
  • Durham/Taymouth,
  • Estey's Bridge,
  • Gladstone,
  • Hampstead,
  • Hanwell,
  • Keswick Ridge,
  • Kingsclear,
  • Lakeside Estates,
  • Lincoln,
  • Lower Douglas,
  • Maugerville,
  • New Maryland,
  • Noonan,
  • Northfield,
  • Pepper Creek,
  • Prince William,
  • Queensbury,
  • Rusagonis-Waasis,
  • Sheffield,
  • Southampton,
  • Stanley,
  • St. Mary’s,

The cleanup is expected to take several days to complete.
