BMM Testlabs expanding Moncton office by up to 27 jobs21 August 2013
MONCTON (GNB) – BMM Testlabs, a systems expert company servicing the gaming industry, will create up to 27 full-time positions during the next four years at its Moncton location.
Premier David Alward and Drew Pawlak, senior vice-president, business development – Americas, BMM Testlabs, made the announcement.
"This expansion strengthens New Brunswick's position as an innovative destination for the information technology industry as well as increases the number of skilled workers in this field," said Alward. "We are proud to partner in BMM Testlabs' plan for growth, as information technology is a priority sector in our government's plan to create jobs and rebuild New Brunswick."

BMM Testlabs has been providing professional, technical and regulatory compliance services to the gaming industry since 1981. The company, based in Las Vegas, Nev., operates 11 gaming labs and employs more than 220 people in 14 locations, including Canada, Spain, Australia, South Africa and South America. Moncton is the company’s only location in Canada.
Under a five-year agreement, Invest NB will provide up to $350,000 in payroll rebates in support of 27 jobs expected to be created during the next four years. These positions include test engineers, computer scientists, business development managers and project managers.
The investment by the provincial government will contribute an estimated $1.5 million annually to New Brunswick’s gross domestic product once all positions have been filled.
In addition, the Department of Economic Development has approved $50,000 under the NB Growth program in support of eligible capital costs.
