Perth-Andover licensed establishment fined for possessing beer purchased in Quebec17 July 2012
FREDERICTON (GNB) – The 878 Waterfront Bistro and Café, a licensed establishment at 878 Main St., Perth-Andover, has been fined $1,000.
During a routine inspection, inspectors found and seized beer that was purchased in the province of Quebec.
Licensees that have liquor on their premises that has not been purchased in New Brunswick and on their liquor license are in violation of section 134 and section 17 of regulation 84-265 of the Liquor Control Act. Fines for violations of these sections range from $1,000 to $5,000 for a first offence.
On July 11, the licensee paid the fine.
