Hundreds of people braved chilly temperatures to enjoy musical entertainment, refreshments and a visit from Santa Claus at the annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at the Legislative Assembly.

Premier Shawn Graham declared April 21, 2008 Lions Appreciation Day in New Brunswick, in honour and recognition of the work of the Lions Clubs of New Brunswick and around the world.
