New Moncton High School officially opened
Students, educators and staff celebrated the official opening of the new $34-million Moncton High School today. The school is 17,370 square meters and accommodates 1,250 students. Construction of the new school began in the spring of 2013 and concluded in December 2014. It replaces the former Moncton High School, located at the corner of Church Street and Mountain Road, which was built in 1935 and closed in January 2015.
