Fire safety for pets
Five pet oxygen masks were presented to two local fire departments to help care for animals involved in fires, traffic collisions or other emergencies. This is part of the Fur Safety campaign, sponsored by the New Brunswick SPCA and the Office of the Fire Marshal. Individuals and organizations can sponsor a $100-mask kit for their local department, or the departments may purchase the kits directly.
