Pioneer of Human Rights Award Presented to Lorraine Silliphant
The New Brunswick Pioneer of Human Rights Award was presented to Fredericton disability advocate Lorraine Silliphant at an awards ceremony at Government House in Fredericton on Tuesday. Sept. 11. Silliphant received the award for her 40 years of work on behalf of community living and inclusive education movements for youths and adults with intellectual disabilities. From left: Lt.-Gov.
