Tentative agreement reached with New Brunswick Union25 February 2016
FREDERICTON (GNB) – The provincial government has reached a tentative collective agreement with the New Brunswick Union.
This group of about 238 employees includes assessors, technical service inspectors, public health inspectors and lab technologists. They work mainly at the departments of Public Safety, Health, Natural Resources, Environment and Local Government and Service New Brunswick.
“I thank the two negotiating teams for reaching this tentative agreement,” said Human Resources Minister Denis Landry. “This illustrates our commitment to ensuring that the government treats its employees with fairness by respecting the collective bargaining process.”
The parties have agreed to withhold details of the agreement pending its ratification.
