International students from community college systems embark on Amazing Race
International students from New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) and the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) embarked on an Amazing Race across New Brunswick. The race kicked-off in Fredericton and will end in Moncton/Dieppe. From walking on the ocean floor at Hopewell Rocks to sailing the seas at Shediac or discovering the world of La Sagouine, teams of international students will enjoy a whirlwind trip through the province. The goal is to provide the students with a fun and educational opportunity that showcases the province and increases interest in international students studying in New Brunswick. This academic year, more than 30 countries are represented in the NBCC and CCNB systems. Premier David Alward; Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour Minister Jody Carr; Marilyn Luscombe, president and chief executive officer of NBCC; and Liane Roy, president and chief executive officer of CCNB, participated in the official kick-off.
