Online Databases - Public Libraries
The New Brunswick Public Library Service (NBPLS) website provides access to many reputable online databases covering a number of subjects. The online databases cover a variety of different subjects including current events, health information, language learning, automobile and small engine repair, online learning and career exploration.
The service is free, but a New Brunswick public library card is required. Online databases can be consulted in public libraries or from any computer with Internet access.
The New Brunswick Public Library Service (NBPLS) offers access to a wide array of prominent online databases where one can find magazine and academic journal articles, as well as reference books and research tools.
Our resources cover a vast array of subjects in both official languages, including (but not limited to):

• career exploration tools to help you discover new career options or to learn about becoming an entrepreneur.
The information presented is reliable and authoritative and is updated daily. Each online database has its own interface and way of presenting the search screen and the results.
