Remember what it was like to dream about your future without limitations? Your government is offering free tuition to kick-start your dream.

The Free Tuition Program (FTP) has been created through the Education and New Economy Fund to increase affordability and access for New Brunswick students to attend public post-secondary institutions in New Brunswick. FTP will provide an incentive for New Brunswick youth to stay and study in New Brunswick.

The bursary will provide upfront, non-repayable assistance for students with gross household incomes of $60,000 or less attending publicly funded college programs or undergraduate university programs in New Brunswick. Please refer to our FAQ’s for more information on who is eligible.

Applications are available through Student Financial Services at the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour or studentaid.gnb.ca.

Student Financial Services can be reached by calling 506-453-2577 in the Fredericton area or outside the toll-free zone. The rest of New Brunswick, the Atlantic Provinces, and west to mid-Ontario can call 1-800-667-5626.
