Quality Assurance
Section 10 of Regulation 2001-9 under the New Brunswick Degree Granting Act (DGA) allows the Minister to select the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission (MPHEC) or such other body to perform program and institutional assessments of applicants wishing to be designated to offer degree programs under the DGA. Since 2005, the MPHEC has been the sole quality assurance agency to perform these assessments on behalf of the Minister.
