Mathematics of Information Technology and Complex Systems (MITACS)
The MITACS Internship Program develops applied small-scale research projects within the Atlantic region. Research is undertaken by a graduate student who evenly divides his/her time over four months between the sponsoring organization and his/her home university. Each internship is valued at $15,000 of which $7,500 is contributed by the partner.
Research Assistantship Initiative (RAI)
A joint initiative of the New Brunswick Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour and the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation. The main objective is to provide research assistantships to students involved with innovation activities in the strategic clusters identified in the Innovation Agenda of New Brunswick: advanced manufacturing, knowledge industries, life sciences, value-added natural resources, and education and training.
