Pesticide Applicator Exams


Anyone wishing to qualify for Class "D" (Landscape) Certification must successfully complete a Core exam and a Landscape exam.

Individuals wishing to write a Core and/or a Landscape exam must first register with the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour. The $75 registration fee must accompany the registration form, along with the $25 annual certification application fee which is to be paid at the beginning of each calendar year at the same time the first exam for that year is paid. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Individuals may write their exam up to three times in one calendar year with no wait in between. The pass mark is 75%.

These exams are administered by the Certification Unit at regularly scheduled sessions. Upon successful completion, a certificate will be mailed to the individual by the Department of Environment.
