Healthy teeth and mouth are an important part of your overall health.  Maintaining good oral health is important as it contributes positively to your physical, mental and social well-being.  Good oral health is important at all ages including for babies, children, adults and seniors.

Maintaining good oral health includes keeping your teeth free from cavities and keeping your gums free from disease.  You can take the following easy steps to keep your teeth and gums healthy:

  • Brush and floss daily;
  • Get fluoride protection by using fluoridated toothpaste;
  • Eat a healthy diet;
  • Avoid tobacco products; and
  • Have regular visits with a dental professional.
