Every five years Statistics Canada conducts a census to provide a statistical portrait of Canada and its people. The most recent census took place in May 2011. New for 2011 was the introduction of a voluntary National Household Survey (NHS) which collected social and economic information.

This page presents short analytical bulletins, prepared by the Department of Finance, which focus on New Brunswick results and characteristics of the population. These articles will help paint a picture of New Brunswick’s demographic, economic and social composition.
