Government of New Brunswick - Canada

The Jobs Board Secretariat  exists to improve the conditions for economic growth in New Brunswick. It will manage the implementation of the New Brunswick Growth Plan including establishing and monitoring the economic and employment growth targets associated with the plan.  It will also support cross-department cooperation on economic policy development, major economic projects and work with Opportunities NB and other government departments on the implementation of an opportunities-based economic development model.

The Jobs Board Secretariat was established to support the Jobs Board in their mandate to bring focus and coordination to provincial economic development and job creation activities. The Jobs Board is chaired by Minister Roger Melanson; Economic Development Minister Francine Landry serves as vice-chair.
