Land Use Planning and Heritage Appeals

Appeals related to land use planning decisions, and heritage review board rulings, begin by submitting the Notice of Appeal Form directly to the APAB. The person appealing will be contacted by the APAB concerning the next course of action.

HERITAGE REVIEW BOARDS are established by Municipal Councils to manage by-laws put in place to protect the historic distinctiveness of a community's preservation areas. The Board provides guidance to property owners on complying with preservation by-laws and/or policies.
