The Department of Environment and Local Government plays a part in the management and protection of New Brunswick waters and as such has developed a protocol to consistently address occurrences of algae blooms. If you encounter what you suspect might be an algae bloom, please report it via telephone to the Department by contacting the appropriate Regional Office.
