  1. Feed your lawn compost and leave grass clippings

  2. Aerate compacted soil

  3. Overseed thinned areas or use ground cover

  4. Use paving stones for heavy traffic areas

  5. Check the lawn regularly for problems

  6. Mow High to promote growth (6 to 8 cm or 2.5 to 3")

  7. Water Deeply (2.5 cm or 1") and infrequently to promote deep roots.

Healthy lawns are less susceptible to pest problems.
