Stage 2 Follow-up Program Year 6 Results: Executive Summary

The Conditions of Approval (COA) for the Modifications to the Petitcodiac Causeway Project (the Project) require that particular environmental conditions and parameters be monitored following the gate opening (Stage 2).

The Follow-up Monitoring Program Terms of Reference (TOR) for all stages of the Project was submitted to the Technical Review Committee (TRC) established by New Brunswick Department of the Environment (NBENV) to oversee the project from the regulatory perspective.

The TRC is comprised of representatives of various provincial and federal agencies including, though not limited to: NBENV, New Brunswick Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Environment Canada and Transport Canada.
