National Aboriginal Leaders Meet
National Aboriginal leaders and the premiers took a short tour on one of the visiting tallships in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. They were in Lunenburg to discuss a wide range of issues prior to the start of the Council of the Federation meetings being held in Halifax this week. New Brunswick currently leads the economic development file. Other issues such as violence against Aboriginal women and girls, education, health care, and energy development were also addressed.
