Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB)

The Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB) was launched in 1996 to augment the Government of Canada’s commitment to increase procurement and participation in major economic opportunities for Aboriginal business.  One of the tools that PSAB has developed and maintained is a national business directory available within the Government of Canada.

PSAB is a national Government of Canada initiative led by Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC).  All federal government departments and agencies are encouraged to participate in this initiative.

Aboriginal businesses can increase visibility by registering in the PSAB’s Aboriginal Business Directory (ABD).  In order to increase procurement opportunities for businesses, AANDC in collaboration with Industry Canada (IC), maintains an on-line ABD that streamlines and simplifies the PSAB registration process.  The ABD is housed within Industry Canada’s Canadian Companies Capabilities (CCC) database and is a search engine available to government, industry and the federal procurement community for identifying Aboriginal business suppliers.

Register today in PSAB’s Aboriginal Business Directory and increase Aboriginal business visibility and procurement opportunities.  Your registration in the ABD is voluntary and completely free!
