Sheep Flock Health Program
Under the “New Brunswick Sheep Flock Health Program”, assistance is provided for the sheep sector to help monitor the health of sheep flocks in New Brunswick and to assist industry to determine a base line of sheep health issues and challenges. This program will provide producers with a comprehensive, professional review of the health status of their flocks.

A strong animal health management plan or surveillance plan is critical for productivity, quality and food safety reasons. Such a plan can also prevent the introduction of new diseases or reduce the number of treatments required to manage a disease. This Program will provide producers with one veterinary farm visit and consultation.
The applicant must complete the New Brunswick Sheep Flock Health Program Application/Registration Questionnaire form. The form must then be submitted to the Regional Veterinarian Supervisor for review.
