An electronic agricultural mapping service is available to assist industry stakeholders manage their land resources. This system is an initiative of this Department, in cooperation with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. This website displays digital aerial photography of individually identified agricultural fields in New Brunswick. Each field used for agricultural production has been assigned a unique identification number.

The Agricultural Resource Management System (ARMS) is a geographic information system support tool to enable farmers to better identify their fields and livestock production facilities for their resource management planning, developing or updating their Environmental Farm Plan, food traceability, and animal health purposes. Farmers will be able to zoom, roam and manipulate maps containing pertinent geographic data for their businesses.

This project is funded under the New Brunswick Agriculture Environmental Management Initiative (AEMI), and a provincial contribution from New Brunswick under the Agricultural Policy Framework(APF), a federal-provincial-territorial agreement on agriculture and agri-food policy.
