The Province of New Brunswick has committed to doubling the amount of Protected Natural Areas on forested Crown Land. In accordance with the Protected Natural Areas Act, the Province will be holding open houses to engage the people of New Brunswick to provide input on the selection of new Protected Natural Areas from the candidate sites.
