A Canadian Celebration

 


In 2012, Canada will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne.

To mark this Diamond Jubilee, special initiatives are planned to honour The Queen’s reign, her service and her dedication to this country, and to celebrate Canadian achievements of the past 60 years.

Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited Canadian Forces Base Gagetown and the City of Saint John during the Victoria Day weekend as the first stops on their tour of Canada to mark the Diamond Jubilee of the Queen.
