Jacques Paynter

Jacques Paynter, P.Eng., has been appointed as project manager to oversee the execution of all aspects of the Project Charter, work with the Steering Committee, facilitate engagement with stakeholders and consult with other government departments. Mr. Paynter will report directly to the Deputy Minister of Health.

Mr. Paynter is a Principal with Amec Foster Wheeler, a multi-national engineering firm with offices in Moncton, Fredericton and Saint John. Mr. Paynter has over 45 years’ experience in the planning, management and execution of a wide variety of large-scale multi-disciplinary projects across Canada. He has broad expertise in public and stakeholder engagement, water resources management and watershed planning, economic analysis, legislative and regulatory frameworks, transportation and land-use planning, climate change adaptation, environmental management and impact assessment, and tourism development planning. He is very familiar with the Southeast region in general, and the Shediac Bay in particular.
