Background and Mandate
The New Brunswick Internal Services Agency (NBISA) was established on May 1, 2010 with a mandate to realign and deliver ‘common services’ – information management and technology, human resources, and financial and administrative services – within the Government of New Brunswick (GNB), using a shared-services delivery model.

To be an outstanding organization that:
• provides quality service driven by quality people in a competitive environment;
• is client-focused and valued by stakeholders; and

This section provides supplies, printing and mail services to government departments and agencies.

Postal Services provides centralized mailing services to government departments and agencies, including processing a number of large recurring mail-outs, such as Family and Community Services payments, government payroll and vendor cheques. Postal Services has specialized equipment for folding, inserting and metering of mail pieces. The operation has staff in ten regions throughout the province who distribute inter-office mail at no cost to user departments.

Printing Services provides a high speed duplicating service as well as offering collating, cutting, binding, and other related services. These services are provided to all government departments on request and work is charged back at approved rates. The printing operation is located in the Centennial Building.
